Ágnes Langer is an award winner of the Bartók World Competition and has been the Second Concertmaster of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra since 2024. She performs as a soloist and chamber musician both in Hungary and abroad. She has participated in the IMS Prussia Cove and the Casalmaggiore International Music Festival, where she took part in masterclasses by Gerhard Schulz, Taras Gabora, NaiYuan Hu, and Roger Chase. She has shared the stage with artists such as Jose Gallardo, Maximilian Hornung, István Várdai, Barnabás Kelemen, and Kristóf Baráti. Ágnes Langer has performed several times in Taiwan, at the Colmar Festival in France, and also made her debut in Moscow with the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra (NPR) under the baton of Mikhail Gerts. In 2018, she was a soloist in the “Spivakov invites” concert series in Russia, where she performed Brahms’ Violin Concerto conducted by Vladimir Spivakov. She completed her university studies in Germany at the Mainz Gutenberg University in Anne Shih’s class and continued at the Maastricht Conservatory as a student of Boris Belkin. She plays a violin made by Nicolo Gagliano in 1782, generously provided by the Peter Eckes Kulturstiftung.
