The joint production of the Royal Opera House of Oman and Müpa Budapest underlines the significance of the meeting of cultures. Sindbad, the hero of the opera, is an emblematic figure in Arabic culture. A superb mariner, he is also an embodiment of versatility, a renaissance man known the world over. His explorations of the world are also journeys into his own self, wherein he uncovers his own merits.
